From private collections to commercial interiors and cultural collaborations, I create original paintings in response to the people, places and stories they belong to.
What is a commission?
A commissioned painting is an opportunity to create something that does not exist anywhere else - an original work made specifically for you.
We begin with a conversation about your space, the scale you are looking for and anything that inspires you, from colour and atmosphere to a particular feeling or story.
From there, I take the creative lead, allowing the painting to develop intuitively in my studio. You don't need to know exactly what you want.
My role is to guide the process and create a painting that feels uniquely yours.
Every commission is unique
No two commissions are the same. Each artwork is created specifically for you, your space and the feeling you want it to hold.
SIZE AND SCALE
From intimate pieces to large-scale statement works, we'll find the size that works beautifully in your space.
COLOUR
Share colours or an atmosphere you love, or leave the palette entirely to me and allow it to emerge intuitively.
MATERIALS
I work primarily in acrylic and mixed media on canvas, building layers of colour, texture and expressive mark-making.
THE PROCESS
Once the practical details are agreed, I take the creative lead allowing the artwork to develop intuitively through colour, movement and energy.
You don't need to know exactly what you want. That's part of the process.
From idea to original artwork
01 CONVERSATION
We begin with a conversation about your space, what you're drawn to and what you'd like the artwork to bring into it.
02 DIRECTION
We agree the size, orientation and any colour considerations. I'll guide you through the options.
03 CREATION
I take the agreed direction into the studio and create the painting intuitively, allowing the artwork to evolve organically.
04 REVEAL
Your finished artwork is professionally prepared and carefully packaged before making its way to you.

Commissions start at £1000 + postage.
If you are looking for an original work at a more considered budget, please contact me directly to discuss.

Commissions take approx. 4 weeks depending on my availability and your artwork size. We can discuss the timeline, and your requirements (if it’s a gift etc) during our initial consultation.

I am happy to work on any size. Larger-scale work can be discussed during our initial conversation.

I am delighted to discuss your colour palette if you have something in mind, or are working with an interior designer.
I can also suggest colours to compliment your theme.

Once I start work on your commission I will share progress photos should this be pre-agreed at the initial commissioning stage. At this stage minor alterations can be made to its design content.
I work intuitively, and the different layers of an abstract painting do not fully represent the finished artwork.

I ship internationally using a tracked and insured reputable postal service such as UPS and DHL. International delivery and taxes vary, I can give you an accurate quote during our initial conversation.
Artwork can be shipped on the stretcher framed, or I can roll the artwork and ship in a tube for you to frame.

Your painting comes double varnished to protect the colour and paint. It will be signed and dated on the back - I can also sign on the front if you like - and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Artwork is carefully wrapped using Glassine Paper, bubble wrap and foam edge protector strips. It is placed securely in a cardboard box and sealed ready for shipping.
