Elementum sold at Sotheby's Auction

I am delighted to share that my Borders Distillery commission, the one-of-a-kind artwork Elementum for The Distillers One of One auction at Hopetoun House, was sold by Sotheby’s for £20,000 - 33% over the estimate.

Elementum is a 21 gallon repurposed ceramic vessel inspired by the Distillery’s fruit-forward-flavours, passionate distillers, and relationships with the farmers and rivers of the Tweed Valley.

This biannual ultra-rare whisky auction raised £2.9 million on Friday 10 October, with all proceeds going to Scotland's Youth Action Fund. A massive congratulations to everyone involved,

Elementum was also exhibited at Sotheby’s New Bond Street, London in September and will be heading to America to its new owners.

If you are a brand looking to elevate your project or event with art, and would like to find out more about my commission process, please email me.
