In Energy Scape #3, our inner landscape becomes a study in colour, movement and atmosphere.
Rather than attempting to reproduce a particular feeling, the painting captures the shifting quality of being human - the way emotions change, thoughts overlap and we feel entirely different from one moment to the next.
Layers of colour and expressive mark-making create depth across the surface, while areas of heightened colour draw the eye across the canvas.
The painting emerged intuitively, creating an organic quality, somewhere between landscape and abstraction.
It is a painting to spend time with, allowing different forms and relationships to emerge gradually.
