Transience 2 continues the exploration of movement, change and impermanence begun within the Transience series.
Dense layers of colour, expressive marks and energetic lines create a surface that feels constantly in motion. Jewel-like blues, pinks, oranges and violets sit alongside quieter metallic golds, allowing the eye to move through the painting rather than settle in one place.
The work reflects the idea that nothing remains exactly as it was. Experiences overlap, disappear beneath new ones and occasionally resurface in unexpected ways.
Created intuitively, the painting evolved through an ongoing dialogue between gesture, colour and surface. The resulting work holds both chaos and structure - a visual reminder that change itself can create its own kind of beauty.
