The third work in the Transience series continues the investigation into change, movement and the fleeting nature of experience.
Here, layers of saturated colour create an almost atmospheric depth, with expressive splashes and sweeping lines crossing the surface. Beneath the intensity are quieter fragments that become visible over time.
Created through an intuitive process, allowing each layer to respond to what came before it. Marks are added, interrupted and partially concealed, creating a sense of continual transformation.
Rather than representing a particular subject, Transience 3 is an exploration of process itself - how something can evolve beyond its original intention to become something unexpected.
