Open hearts and joy all round
What a gorgeous weekend, and huge thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came to my first Open Studio exhibition in Leith, Edinburgh.
Nearly 50 people came to my private view at Cockburn Collective on Friday night, and I loved sharing my work with guests, watching them connect with certain paintings, share stories and chat and laugh over a glass or two of fizz.
This was my first solo exhibition at the studio - hopefully the first of many - and a real learning curve. Cockburn Collective has a dedicated exhibition and gallery space, which gave me the opportunity to be the curator, hanging team, artist, event organiser, marketeer and host! It was full on but great fun.
You can watch a short reel of the day/evening here: Open Studio
I also hosted my first intuitive art workshops in Scotland. Having run these in London for a number of years before we moved back to Edinburgh this year, it was fabulous to share my techniques and process with everyone. I’ll be making my intuitive painting workshops these a regular feature - my studio lends itself so well to painting workshops!
Why not start 2026 with purpose, positivity and a commitment to your wellbeing. Join me in January for two light-hearted, intuitive art workshops where we’ll connect to your intentions for the year ahead, and create a beautiful intuitive artwork to take home as a daily reminder of your goals, values and self-care. No artistic experience is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to create something meaningful.
