Thin Places explores transitions, thresholds and in-between spaces.
A number of years ago I visited Orkney and found the energy around Brough of Birsay and the Stones of Stenness Circle and Henge palpable. The feeling stayed with me for years, and I never understood why until I discovered the Celtic tradition of ‘Thin Places’ - locations where the veil between the ordinary and the sacred becomes so fragile that one might almost step through into a realm beyond.
This collection features calming neutral shades, inspired by moody Scottish skies, and pops of vibrant colour full of energy and possibility. They remind us that even on the darkest days, we can honour our inner light and step into brighter days.
