Celestial Sunset is a gentle reminder that we often have to end something to start a new journey or chapter in life. Endings can often feel stressful so I wanted this painting to feel calm and serene, yet hopeful and exciting. I am also fascinated with the psychology of colour and believe it holds more than a visual energy. I used gold leaf to symbolise happiness, prosperity and achieving a higher level of inner peace.
